I am not sure how to write this review without spoiling anything for you. I love the cover, the colors drawing me in…and that hunkalicious green guy. LOLA romance that put a smile on my face and a little heat in my Kindle. Anna is the Colony's Jurassic Park creator, but in a good way. Valentine is an engineer on the Magellan. They were separated and…You will have to read Valentine to find out the details for yourself. I will tell you, I enjoyed spending time with him and Anna and am sure I will be back to the Colony, seeing I have Cupid on my Kindle. I may be reading them out of order, but I don't think it matters that much. Like a lot of series, each couple's romantic story stands alone, yet best when beginning at the beginning.

I don't know if I'd read more of the series if I'd been more invested in the characters. It was too short to be complete, but it wasn't a terrible book of finding a lost love.

After four years, Valentine is reborn. He's been regenerated from what was left after a war time disaster and four years in stasis. Anna was his wife but he has no memory of the past. Can the spark they had rekindle some of the memories he has lost.This is another good story in the series with a few links to the previous books. It can be enjoyed without having read them.Good story telling and character development.

This book was a good short read. I didn't want it to end. While it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. The characters emotions are real and relatable.
