When graduate Aussie archaeologist Sybil flies halfway around the world to work in the Arctic, she’s not sure what she might find…but she wasn’t counting on getting injured at the start of the dig…or being rescued by the hottest Viking she’s ever seen.

Thor might look like a superhero, but he has secrets buried under the ice that have been waiting a thousand years to come to light. Worse, he’s missing his hammer, the weapon he needs to set things right…and Sybil’s his only hope of getting it back.

If only they can break the curse before the Viking witch who cast it wakes…

Interesting story

I thought this tale of Thor was very interesting, he is not a god, but he is a warrior and all he wants is his axe. It was entertaining fantasy, with Sybil finding him on an archeological expedition, with a nasty character and a missing artefacts, definitely more to come in the series. He has an imaginative backstory, and definitely more to come.

Thor, the one with the hammer

Sybil, an archeology student on an expedition, had found more than she expected from her research. None other than a Viking with a mind set on revenge, searching for his weapon, and obsessed with protecting her, her! Given the Viking's little knowledge of what was going on around him, Sybil was willing to help him, but not before enjoying the charms and skills of the specimen of a man. Entertaining, funny, and passionate as Sybil and Thor get down to business on the quest. The trickster has me intrigued with his sudden appearances because details about him are still lacking. The pieces are fitting together, slowly but surely, and we are seeing how the stories intertwine with each other, something that the author has accustomed me to. I like how she keeps me alert for details, and I enjoy it when I see something I recognize. Interesting as the author, through Thor words, she presents the myth in a more real and human way, moving it away from fantasy a little. I'm anxious to see how the revenge and curses thing will be resolved because so far, I have no idea. The plot twists have my eyes wide open. Love these stories.
