A delightful romance. Audra, who appeared first in book 1, is now a graduate meteorologist working in Antarctica until she's required to help an injured scientist Jean Pennant, on his way to the hospital. Things didn't go well for her on that trip. The next summer both of them are back in Antarctica and accidentally sharing a room. Things don't go well for either of them. Eventually, they share time on Heard Island where Jean Pennant was first injured. Things don't go well, again. Notice the theme yet.Well written. Fun to read. Worth every minute.I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

I read the first book to the series and love it! I'm not a big on stories that don't end the series with the original couple that hooked up. No matter what he did, how long it takes and who they end up with in the series to me it's not true love that is fantasy. If I want what happens in life for true love I would not lose myself in a book to escape. Well written for the ones that don't mind or even love romances like this one. For me it wasn't for me.

Davis Station. Jay Felix (Chaya lead singer, Audra's former boss, Tropical Romance Island Resort mgr.), was trying his best to win Audra (MS Davis Antarctic meteorologist, surgical asst., former TRIR Hotel maid) heart back.
She assured him that was not gonna happen.
They were all waiting for the Aurora Australis (Icebreaker) to come in port.Shelley (Ross' wife/mother) was Audra's boss.
Jean-Pierre Pennant (Canadian biologist, PhD student) paid Dairine (Jean-Pierre's ex-wife) a visit.
She was not pleased about that, after all they were divorced.
Dairine is expecting twins with her new husband Ed.
Seattle, WA. Jean-Pierre went to see Dr. Louis (Professor, PhD advisor).
Nest stop for Jean-Pierre (PhD student, U of Washington, biologist, U of British Columbia; biology) McMurdo Station (New Zealand's sub-Antarctic islands) then onto Davis Station.
He introduced himself to Shelley & Audra Zujute (Australian Bureau of Meteorology).
Jean-Pierre later met PhD students: Ali, Carl, Bruce, Carl, Lesley, Jay, & Paul.
Atlas Cove. Jean-Pierre was doing his research/dissertation on King penguins.

A very well written romantic book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great movie, or romance better yet a mini TV series. This book was fun to read. It wasn't full of swear words or sexual innuendo. It had a good story line even if it took most of the book to understand that they were made for each other. No changing rooms.

Audra finds her way to Antarctica to follow out her dream, but is detoured to help in the aide of Jean who is hurt badly at Heard Island. He recovers and finds himself in a situation that he soon figures out is a blessing in disguise. To find out how this work out, read this truly good book and the rest of Romance Island Resort series! So freaking good!
