Loose lips aren't the only thing that can sink ships…but sending submarines into Sirena's seas can only lead to one thing: war.

William said that Singapore would fall, but Sirena didn't expect it to happen while she was there.

With a submarine on her tail as she tries to preserve her grandfather's precious treasure, Sirena finds herself on the other side of the ocean from her daughters…and with no choice but to fight to protect the human city she once called home.

With the human world at war on land, air and sea, one siren will answer the call. But it will take more than one siren to win this war…

Siren of War Book 5

This is the last of Maria's story. Following her from book 1 until now has been a joy. I love how Demelza Carlton develops her characters. Maria grows from a cold-blooded "fish" into a person you really care about and that cares about othersthroughout the series.WW1 has come to the South Pacific. Maria has lost William for a final time and has become the leader of her family pod. When news breaks that her grandfather's property is in danger of being destroyed, Maria heads to Singapore just in time to find it being attacked by the Japanese. After rescuing a group of people Maria joins the AWAS to fight the war and bring peace to the humans in the South Pacific. Here the adventure begins...

How Sirena spent her time during WWII

It's a good story. It's basically the notion of how Sirena spent her time during WWII. A little of the horrors of war. The evil of some men. The righteousness of others. But, from the world's perspective, or at least my own limited perspective, that particular area of the world did not attract as much attention as did Europe. This title does nothing to change my mind in that regard. And the ending is a bit lackluster. Nonetheless, it was entertaining.Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Tragic. Twisted. Wonderful characters.I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.
