When the Lord of Hell’s nemesis Persephone disappears, Luce returns to power as the HELL Corporation’s sexy CEO. With Mel at his side, he’s certain he’s in Heaven. If only she’d agree to get down and dirty on his desk.

Mel takes the hunt for Persephone across the globe from Australia to London to Japan. Can she find the half-angel and thwart a nuclear attack? Or will Luce’s devilish ways drive the world to war?

An angel's work is never done

I somehow managed to read this book out of order and it took me awhile due to other commitments, but I enjoyed it.Luce and Melanie are back at HELL from hell. Confused? Well, the first is a corporation and the second is, well, hell. The search for Persephone continues and Luce and his angel travel to Europe and then to Asia. Melanie is growing tired and her powers are weakening as Luce tries to take care of her and help her keep her strength up. A nuclear crises threatens and it is taking all of the angel's strength to find a way to stop it. Luce finally takes matters into his own hands, but will his interference cause a rift in his own life?

Wonderful characters. Tear-jerker. Tragic. Twisted.

Melody and Luce continue to be wonderfully imperfect beings. Most of the time misunderstanding themselves and each other. Persi's disappearance was a distraction. The end was unsatisfying for me.Entertaining. Haunting. Scary.I received a copy of this book as a gift. This is my honest review.

Stayed up late to finish this great story.

Even more Mel and Luce adventures. No spoilers, but if you enjoyed the earlier books in the series you will like this one.
