Title

It was meant to be a joke – trying out a demon summoning spell from an ancient spell book. Callie didn't expect it to summon one demon, let alone four.

Now she can't get rid of him.

Grant Steel isn't sure what's worse – that Callie is a better Latin scholar than he is, or that he's forced to protect her.

But when a family wedding looms and Callie needs a date, she has no choice but to make a deal with Grant. If he pretends to be her fake fiancé for the wedding, she'll allow him to protect her.

But Callie gets far more than she bargained for…

A delightful continuance of the saga.

A delightful continuance of the saga. Callie helped to call forth several gargoyles, stone protectors, in an earlier title. Grant was one of those summoned. He was summoned as her protector. There are trials and tribulations for both to face. And they come out stronger for their efforts. Unfortunately, the story does not conclude as succinctly as the ones before. But it does come to a good, solid conclusion.I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

Unicorns and the walk of shame on stairs makes for good laughs.

Really enjoy this series. From such dark deeds the author gives us a humorous happy ending spreading light through the darkness. Each book does lead into the next so I'm looking forward to the next one coming January 3, 2023. I'll be chuckling all through Christmas thinking of unicorns and watching closely when I see ladies walking on stairs.

This was another story in this series that always leave you wanting more! It was interesting and intriguing as you read this storyline and has wonderful characters! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A little twisted, very intense!!

This is a great addition to the series. The chemistry between Grant and Callie is off the charts. I had to laugh at the scene outside her bedroom when he is a statue. How funny! Would have been nice if it was longer.
Trigger warning there is mention of being raped as a child.

I'm loving this series. This is the third book and has you turning pages from start to finish. It is a standalone but has references to the the previous books The characters and story line are fantastic.Highly recommended
