I may be reading them out of order, but I don't think it matters that much. Like a lot of series, each couple's romantic story stands alone, yet best when beginning at the beginning.

I don't know if I'd read more of the series if I'd been more invested in the characters. It was too short to be complete, but it wasn't a terrible book of finding a lost love.
