Interesting twist for Rumpelstiltskin retake

I quite enjoyed this inventive retake...She is very clever and again we see some familiar faces from her other tales retold...

Rumpelstiltskin With a Twist

I love how Miss Carlton takes classic children's fairytales and retells them with a more adult twist. This is Rumpelstiltskin with a little Midas thrown in. You have an inventor, Molina the miller's daughter, agreeing to marry Prince Lubos, Midas' son, who takes her to the capital to meet his father and receive his blessing. However, for some reason Lubos leaves Molina with his crazy father who refuses to give his blessing until she spins thread into gold. Enter Rumpelstiltskin who gives the story an interesting twist at this point. This is not your usual HEA ending.

This one was harder to get into. Rumplestiltskin was a fairytale that always intrigued me. This book had a lot of moving parts and moved a bit slow for me.

An interesting twist to a classic!

This is Spin: Rumpelstilskin Retold written by Demelza Carlton. The books in this series are quite different from the original fairy tales. They are all captivating, in that you never quite know what will happen next. Spin ended quite abruptly and I am left wishing I knew what had happened afterwards.
